This is a group exhibition of four different artists, featuring works on various media. The elements of dots, lines and forms are reflected in each artist’s work on exhibit in a distinctive and characteristic way.
Terui Yuzuru’s work features dots of plastic lined up in dome-shaped clusters on a screen made of polarizing film, agitating the viewer’s vision with dynamic changes in color. Tajima Daisuke uses aggressive line drawings to depict dynamic cityscapes and heavy machinery. The momentary textures of the lines in his work produce a positive influence on the atmosphere of the inspiring scenes that he draws. Ono Tetsuya creates figures of excessively overloading details, which have a certain cuteness despite their forms being very mechanical. Takemura Fumihiro maintains the medium of painting, while using paint to bring a diversity of three-dimensional scenic elements to life and to create forms that have profound visual appeal.
The different textures, worldviews and attention to details are brought together into a single space, enabling visitors to experience the individuality and characteristics of each work even more clearly.
