We will be presenting the “HOPE” exhibition by Mishima Kikuna. Starting by drawing a picture in the back of her mind, Mishima produces each work entirely by herself. She details the way the model stands, and objects used in her photos even more intricately.
She relates that “it’s only after I see the final photograph that I realize what I was feeling, and I finally know what kind of situation I was in. I feel relieved at my joy of having lived in this world.”
This exhibition introduces Mishima’s fantastic and narrative worldview, using girls as the subject of works. Her first monograph of photos HOPE will be on sale. Autograph signing sessions are as well organized.
