Shimura Noriyuki - The Pleasure of the Wise

2025.5.16 [Fri] - 6.1 [Sun]

Shimura Noriyuki is a ceramicist creating pottery based on the concept of a journey to a waterside paradise where various creatures such as legendary beasts, monsters, wild animals, herbivores, birds, and reptiles gather.
This exhibition will feature new works such as everyday tableware, objects, and lamps.

The chameleon is likened to the “pleasure of the wise” because of its transformation, diversity, mystery, and the need for consideration.
The thing that the wise men love changes its form and lives in the Roppongi jungle.
