Mika Ninagawa’s Work Is Now Available as an Original Mori Art Museum T-Shirt and Pouch, Faithfully Capturing Her Unique Worldview!

Mika Ninagawa, an internationally acclaimed photographer and film director, whose work Symphony of Lights in Future’s Embrace (2023), projects her signature vibrantly colorful worldview, is part of the Mori Art Museum Collection.

This work is now available as a T-shirt and pouch exclusively at the Mori Art Museum Shop.

The dazzlingly vivid flowers bring out the richness of life in all its glory, while also capturing its inevitable withering and fragility. Glowing softly at the heart of work is a white neon sign spelling out “Symphony of Lights in Future’s Embrace,” a passage written by data scientist Miyata Hiroaki, collaborates on the work as part of the creative team EiM. The piece speaks to a powerful desire to not be consumed by sadness and anxiety, and to instead search for the ray of hope that lies beyond, and to seek a brighter future.
