Miyaoka Takami pursues new possibilities of expression by fusing ceramic art with characters from modern manga and anime. By combining traditional pottery techniques with elements of modern pop culture, he creates unique shapes.

The exhibition will focus on idol art that has changed over time, including the “Guzo (Idol)” series, which samples and mixes characters, and the “S (Stamp)” series, which uses technique of monotype that he started this year.
