The Hills Beyond the Hill (Oka-no-mukogaoka), Shimura Noriyuki’s Solo Exhibition Opens from October 26 at the MORI ART MUSEUM SHOP

2022.10.21 [Fri]

Shimura Noriyuki is a ceramics artist that hails from Ito City in Shizuoka prefecture. The artist operates his own studio, “Umiza Kobo” in Izu Kogen, where he creates his works.
At this exhibition, Shimura’s ceramic vessels, objects and other works for everyday use will be on display and available for purchase.

Once you stand on the hilltop, before you know it the dense fog clears, and you are welcomed by the spectacular clear skies on the other side.
The scenery that each one of us sees is different, but the beauty is the same.
Our next step is to walk towards it.
