MORI ART MUSEUM SHOP will hold a special event for Wisut Ponnimit, known as “Tam-kun,” a popular manga artist living in Thailand.
The adorable works of “Mamuang and Lala-chan,” which was serialized in magazine liniere, will be displayed in the store, and a variety of Mamuang goods will be on sale, including “Mamuang and Lala-chan” tote bag, long T-shirt and other related items, and a Mamuang mascots that are available only at the MORI ART MUSEUM SHOP!

Mamuang
Mamuang is a pure girl who naturally makes those around her happy, and has an emotional personality that cries a lot when she cries and laughs a lot when she laughs. Her favorite food is soft ice cream! “Mamuang” means mango in Thai language. Her head is shaped like a mango, hence the name.
Lala
Lala is a cat came to Mamuang’s house on a whim and settled in. Although she spends her time freely, she has a special bond with Mamuang. The mischievous expression she sometimes shows is her charm.
Wisut Ponnimit
Wisut is a manga artist based in artist from Thailand, nicknamed “Tam-kun.” He made his debut as a manga artist in 1998. From 2003 to 2006, he stayed in Kobe, Japan, where he attracted attention for his unique style that blends Japanese and Thai cultures. In 2009, he won the Encouragement Award in the Manga Division of the Japan Media Arts Festival. Currently based in Bangkok, he works not only in manga but also in animation and music production.
