From Tuesday, September 1 to Sunday, October 25, the MORI ART MUSEUM SHOP will host a mini pop-up for ERAM, a fragrance brand born in Japan.
ERAM offers a way of encountering perfume with no fixed answers. Just as what we feel when standing before a painting differs from person to person, ERAM’s scents are entrusted entirely to the sensibility of the one who wears them.
Each bottle comes with a print-style drawing and a short poem that leaves room for interpretation. Letting your imagination unfold from an image or a few words, then choosing a scent from there - this experience shares something with the quiet act of standing before a work of art.
The same philosophy runs through the fragrances themselves. Universal scenes and emotions drawn from classical literature are expressed through the very structure of the scent, without relying on overtly “Japanese” notes. Each fragrance connects with the memories and interpretations unique to the person wearing it, giving rise to a story all their own.
