Ikeda Satoshi “cosmic origin”

2022.4.29 [Fri] - 5.22 [Sun]

Inspired by the manga and anime that the artist has been familiar with since childhood, Ikeda Satoshi has been utilizing their techniques in his own distinctive ways to pursue his own characteristic of “lines.”
His works feature a style of drawing where fine pieces are accumulated to complete one piece. The humorous characters scattered in all sorts of places keep the audience entertained.
This exhibition showcases Ikeda’s paintings in theme of “the cosmos in my head,” including some new works.

I have expressed the theme of “the cosmos in my head” in this exhibition.
From the onset of the Big Bang, the universe expands. There exist various creatures and civilizations and their emotions intersect.
I have decided to entitle the exhibition “cosmic origin” to serve as the prologue to this.
“The cosmos in my head” continues expanding henceforth.
