Elena has established a unique style centered on Chibi-chan - a character she created during her junior high school years - drawing entirely freehand and without preliminary sketches, she uses bold outlines and vivid colors reminiscent of Japanese anime and manga, crafting a one-of-a-kind world that fuses traditional Japanese culture with contemporary pop culture.

BACK TO WONDER is a phrase that deeply expresses a sentiment I have long cherished in my creative work: the desire to return to a childlike state of mind. This is not simply about reverting to childhood; it is about looking at the world - as children do - with a sense of wonder, asking, “What is this?” It means breaking free from the values and preconceptions of others to reclaim one’s own sense of what is delightful or interesting, as well as one’s capacity to freely imagine. I hope that, even if only for the brief moment you stand before my art, you will feel free to let your imagination roam, enjoy your own unique perspective, and awaken the curiosity and playfulness that lie dormant deep within your heart. To return - even for an instant - to that sense of freedom we knew as children, to smile, and then to carry that feeling back into your daily life... I have poured this desire to share such an experience into the title BACK TO WONDER.
