This exhibition celebrates the publication of Tanaka Makiko’s artistic collection in print, Black Hawaii.
At this exhibition, Tanaka presents original drawings from her book of poetry and paintings entitled Black Hawaii, which was inspired by the nighttime beaches that she personally visited in Hawaii. The exhibition also showcases her new oil paintings on the same theme.
The Black Hawaii will be on sale at the venue, before the sales at the general book store.
